I absolutely love this band... And they have all the right influences too!!!
I agree with others in that this is probably the only younger band that I can really get into... They are like a throwback to the 80's heyday of Duran Duran and INXS---when you could be a REAL band, but play Pop and Funk as opposed to Metal, Alternative or Garage Rock.
They can really play too and have plenty of cool songs! | |

I think Maroon 5 are great. Their music has changed and 'Songs about Jane' is still the best, but I've always liked their sound and have seen them live a couple of times. Adam Levine has a great presence on stage.
The comments on the clip didn't sound overly natural, but it's good to hear that they love Prince. I'm hearing that a lot about the bands that I like lately.
The opening poster mentioned M5 doing a cover of Purple Rain? Really? Where can I find this? Or is it Kiss that you were thinking of? "Don't abuse children, or else they'll turn out like me." | |

Just watched Adam Levine on the Letterman show 2nite and he shared a story of Prince and his band jamming at Levine's place, then Prince invited them 2 jam at his place 'till 6 in the morning and Prince even offered them pancakes when it was over. Really cool story and very insightful! Thanks 4 sharing that story Adam!  "Just like the sun, the Rainbow Children rise."

Wow! love him!!!  will ALWAYS think of  like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that wasn't of this earth, would not have been that surprised. R.I.P. | |
