Matt Thorne interview download (BBC Radio) Prince biographer, Matt Thorne, was interviewed for BBC Radio 4's Front Row, which was broadcast this evening (Wednesday, 10 October).
Matt discusses his book about, and interest in, Prince.

He sounds like a real hardcore fan, he says he went to 19 out of the 21 nights in London. I'm sure he must be on the .org, does anyone know his .org name?!
However, he said P became a witness in 2004, surely it was earlier than that, seeing as he and Mani had a JW wedding in 2001 and he met Larry back in 1996/7.

^ Yes, I don't know what his obsession is with that song...!!! It's OK but he's making out it's The Grand Progression or Rebirth of the Flesh or something....

^ LOL. All relative I guess hehe One of my favs from that album is Until U're In My Arms Again...i find that more moving than Wasted Kisses...(which I can never tell if its loving or angry)

He appeared on Front Row previously when he reviewed the O2 shows (which, as I recall, was probably when his dislike for 'Cream' began, due to its regualar appearance in the main show setlist - usually coupled with 'U Got The Look'). ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift. |
