The Work 2.0 never existed. There was "The Work - Enhanced" but the only bootleg outtake collection with 2.0 in the title is "Work It 2.0," which as nothing whatsoever to do with either Testament or Ivault.
Sorry for the edits.

^Yep, it's funny how rather clueless people insist in offering unrequested advice and normally that advice reflects how clueless they are.

IIRC, Jill and Shelia left Prince's camp before any sort of configuration could be made. A few tracks were recorded, but nothing was never made.
I think the case could be made that there was a configuration made of Jill's second CD, since Boom Boom had a music video made.

So far 4 tracks from that have surfaced. There was a thread on here recently about Sheila's alleged 4th CD with a track listing. When go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all up in the house but when log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

I take this as a personal insult, not the first time I have had to pull you over for getting personal. The Testament was the first version of those albums, Prince's Ivault was the second, the Work 2.0 was apparently to be the third. I was misinformed by an orger in another thread sue me. I know the others aren't fake as I have them. I am not clueless either, I consider myself to have a very good level of knowledge, which unfortunately is not enough for the excellent to fanatical level required to participate here. I was advising the listener on 1988 unreleased tracks, of which I have quite a few and know what tey sound like. Most of these are on Testament and Princesivault albums (In my collection of 1000+ unreleased jams).
Got some kind of love for you, and I don't even know your name

^Again: No thing such as 'The Work 2.0' did ever exist.
'Testament' was good for its time, first on CD and later on the DVD Revelations. Prince's iVault was a remake of Revelations with the sole addition of the snippets freed a few years ago. And all of these are fucking mp3 crap.
Then we had The Work. First 5 volumes pressed bu Thunderball and the rest as fan-released CDrs. All of them were assembled by Liberation. Despite being a wav release, most of the sources came also from crappy mp3s. Not even the 'Enhanced Edition' offered any improvement. And the tracks were spread all over the cds in a messy manner and not chronologically.
After that, Work It made the rounds. It was a massive release with MOST of the sources being wav. Only a few tracks that were unavailable as lossless were used.
Then we had Work It 2.0, with much better (lossless) sources and even that was later 'Updated' with some more better quality files.
So, as of today, the best compilation for all circulating outtakes would be Work It 2.0 Updated substituting the correspondent tracks that were later released in even better quality on the Pure Funk '30 Years...' volumes, on Box Of Chocolates (FBG) and on Parade Demos (4DaFunk). Add to that the snippets (though the circulating snippets are mp3-sourced) and that's the best you can get for outtakes.
And, please, get off your somewhat high horse for a while. There's nothing more ridiculous than a fan claiming to 'have a very good level of knowledge'. Especially when that's not true.
Regarding your collection 'of 1000+ unreleased jams', I never counted the circulating outtakes but I seem to remember there were like 600 + something tracks on Testament/Revelations/iVault. It's clear that we haven't obtained like 400+ outtakes since. So I'm afraid you might be considering as 'unreleased outtakes' things that may not be unreleased.

So you are the person running the Prince SAT's ? I do not care what you think, the other 400 songs are from various bootlegs and alternative versions. I have got most the music off a 1 Tetrabite hard drive that someone loant me, he is a real fan and would probably blow you out of the water. I apologise I got the name of the The Work wrong, I should be lined up and shot by the Vitriol Purity Police (Your name says it all actually - I would choose axxxxxe as a better one). And really because the files are MP3's does that not count or something. The fact the friend loant me the hard drive only 6 weeks ago and I am downloaded some of it, means I have not had the time to listen to every song yet, mainly as I have a life outside of becoming a Prince scholar.
Okay I may not be as bright as you and I am going to make some mistakes, but I am hardly acting like I am be all and end all about Prince like you do. I also have dyslexia and that may explain some of the spelling mistakes in my posts. I don't mind you pointing out my errors (I will make them I am a human after all, not a robot, but calling me clueless and accusing me of being on a high horse (I call it standing up for myself against web bullies like you) is going beyond the pale. You insinuate that I am almost at the level of calling myself a Prince fan, because I like purple rain and think he was the guy who changed his name to a symbol level fan. Got some kind of love for you, and I don't even know your name

Look, little childie, I defy you to find ANY fucking post where I nominate myself as 'very knowledgeable Prince fan' or something in that vein. I also invite you to tell me when did I act like I am be all and end all about Prince. Absolutely NEVER did I behave like that.
I am in close contact with people who are MONSTERS when it comes to Prince facts, I'm just a poor aficionado compared to them. But they NEVER EVER talked of themselves as ones who 'have a very good level of knowledge'. So you should learn a little humility to begin with. And the line inviting me to make a test for you to take just speaks volumes about inmaturity.
Regarding 'the mp3 being naff in 2012', I can tell you the mp3 format started being heavily refused by hardcore collectors as of 2004. But I don't know if you were already a Prince fan by then.
About the 400 tracks you claim to have apart from the around 600 circulating outtakes (including demos, unreleased mixes or extended versions) I'll just tell you 'no, darling, there aren't 1000 unreleased tracks out there to grab'. And if for some reason you got to that number, is that you are considering as outtakes things that have been officially released. Don't cry, many people commit that mistake, but no one of them feels proud of it like you.
About the remaining chapters of your rant, such as calling me a 'web bully', I can only say you're misunderstanding me completely (but don't worry, I'll be able to sleep perfectly tonight). A very different thing is that I love to mock at all the bullshit and nonsense that's posted here. But that has nothing to do with your post or my response to it.
It was you the one who started talking about having a good knowledge (which I NEVER said) and I just wanted to point out just how ludicrous that sounds.
So, again, get off that high horse because you're here, like me, to LEARN. It's clear that with the current level of the org, being able to learn something valuable here is like finding a needle in a haystack. But that should be the spirit of a web visitor.
I didn't intend to 'teach' you anything. You just got some facts wrong and I tried to help you as much as I could to get them more straight.
But your way of OVERreacting will really make me think twice next time you state something false as a word-of-god.

Y'all make it sound like there's a secret Cabal of collectors. I hesitate to say it is a fact...but it is. Naturally there are always going to be those closer to the various sources of material than others and will therfore obtain new tracks first. It is a trust thing. If you were given a track and were specifically asked not to share it if you then renaged on this agreement you would take the risk of compromising the source/identifying them and that would be a whole heap of wrong. The people who obtain the tracks do so often at great personal risk. Hence why some tracks take many years to appear and remain in a very close knit circle - because they have to. Some don't see the light of day ever for the same reason. Totally frustrating, but ce la vie! I can remember select members of other sites years ago specifically discussing the existence of the original version of Lovesexy. They did not have it themselves but knew one or two people who had heard it but did not have a copy physically. So it is out there somewhere and I would probably give one of my nuts for it. I have been kicking around for a long time and have seen many years worth of threads on a number of sites which point to inner and outer circles. Personally it's been years since I was actively contributing to sites; I was left with a bitter taste after the whole PFU debacle and needed a rest from it all. I don't seem to be able to resist unreleased threads - they still light a spark!

Yeah the extended version on Tajas 12" single was good..but lacked that fire and energy that Prince's extended version had. Something about all those horns, synths and cymbal crashes brings it to an exhilirating climax....Taja's has some of those sounds, but it was def edited. Straight Jacket Funk Affair

If there really exists an early version of Lovesexy then yeah, that one.
I'd be perfectly happy with just about any number of the outtakes from 1980-89 getting leaked. "Cosmic Day", "Adonis & Batsheba" etc. At least we know those are out there somewhere.

whatever i could get . the rest of those snippets from years back, if possible (cosmic day, adonis..., etc.) they all sound somewhat promising. for live stuff, i'd like to see (or at least hear ) the complete lovesexy camden palace aftershow (the one from that documentary) or any other aftershow from that era . The rough more demo version of the Lovesexy album if it really exists as a complete album would be great, but I'll take individual tracks too!
I just remember in an interview how disappointed Dr. Fink was (or was it Eric Leeds?) when they heard the much more embellished cluttered version.
