Love bizarre 12:18 I just listened to the studio version of A Love Bizarre for the first time in a long time. I was surprised by the guitar solo towards the end. It is credited to Prince on Princevault, but I'm not entirely convinced Prince was capable of playing such fast and smooth runs with a clean sound. It sound more like Miko W, doesn't it? What do you think? The wooh is on the one! |

I've heard him do some "jazz" noodling before, but nothing quite like this. Rather impressive actually. Take this with his drumming on Madhouese 8, and you get the feeling that you rarely hear him play to the best of his ability. Technically that is. The wooh is on the one! |

with Prince who knows but it didn't sound outside of his ability technically but stylistically it just doesn't sound like him to my ears. Miko had that bluesy, jazzy sound, Prince was always versatile though so it wouldn't be out of the question but I don't think so. I go by feel when I assess those things not skill and it just doesn't sound like Prince's guitar "feel". |

I agree. The 12'' version of Mountains has a short solo that I think is stylistically similar, although less developed. Of couse Miko took part in the recording session for Mountains, so no definite answers there. [Edited 10/3/12 5:33am] The wooh is on the one! |

Strollin' was recorded during the Nude tour while Miko was still in the band, so it's possible. But I guess it could be Levi as well? She Spoke 2 Me has a similar solo and I think that one is played by Levi. The wooh is on the one! |
