Private Joy This would have been ten times better with an extended version.
It sounds like one of Prince's earliest pop songs, but extended it could have been a funk track like Sexy Dancer or I Wanna Be Your Lover. --------------------

I like the track a lot, but its dated badly. The synths are some of the most 80's sounding he used.
I love the "I strangled Valentino..." bit and I agree about the harmonies, probably make the track what it is. Has he performed this live often? I cant find a live version anmywhere. | |

This is one of the best, underrated songs of the eighties. "Private Joy" makes me do a go-go dance!! And yes, the harmony is incredible!! It just rocks!
