The sequencing on the original album is perfect so I wouldn't mess that up by including the bonus songs, they sould be added at the end. BUT, I would use the longer outtakes that are circulating on the various "deluxe" versions that are floating around. The extended "Computer Blue" is a MUST!

1. Let's Go Crazy (7:35)

2. Take Me With You (3:54)

3. The Beautiful Ones (6:07)

4. Computer Blue (7:29)

5. Darling Nikki (4:49)

6. When Doves Cry (5:54)

7. I Would Die 4 U (2:51)

8. Baby I'm A Star (4:22)

9. Purple Rain (8:48)

10. 17 Days (3:55)

11. Erotic City (5:31)

12. I Would Die 4 U (extended) (10:20)

13. Another Lonely Christmas (6:47)

14. God

Don't think an expanded version will happen, so I'm very happy with the unofficial versions.

I agree...the circulating long versions of "Computer Blue" are AMAZING!! Those must be included on any 'deluxe edition'!!!

Why has no-one mentioned the major outtake of the time which was originally slated for release - Wednesday....?!

I would want to hear that. It amazes me that's never fully leaked.

I was just thinking about this lol Wasn't it supposed to sung by Jill Jones in the film?

It may have been?! It just surprises me as it was going to be on the album so it must have been a pretty major track, just amazes me the o
riginal hasn't leaked....still will make it all the more exciting when (or if) it does get officially released....

Disc 1: Purple Rain (remastered).
Disc 2: Several Outtakes.
Disc 3: Movie in HD.

Nice presentation cd case (hardcover digipak) with accompanying booklet. Original cover art. Possibly drop the film.

Or go David Gilmour Live in Gdsank. Give choices?

Twi disc set. Three disc set. For disc set. Vinyl with all previous and digital dlc. Oh he also included On an Island with DTS 5.1ยก

Excuse the typing. My phone and the Org don't get on.

I'd keep the original album cover, and include a booklet with lyrics, photos and some sort of writing about the making of the album. Make it a multiple disc set, with disc 1 being the original album remastered; disc 2 being extended mixes / b-sides / previously unreleased outtakes; and disc 3 being a live DVD from the Purple Rain tour (or you could just use the movie). Maybe a live CD in addition to the DVD. Then put out a cheaper single disc version with just the original album remastered.

This would sell.

Overall, I'm happy with your tracklist, but I don't think anybody wants these. Certainly not the hardcore fans (the only ones who would be buying the collector's edition).

Oh I should have specified. I didn't mean Bad-25ish remixes. I meant remixes made by Prince and other old people. Prince never put any remixes (other than extended versions) on his singles in the 80's so this would be his 80's remixes.
