I can't get over the slowed down version of "I Could Never Take the Place of Your Man." Wow!

He played this at the 9/25 Chicago concert. Didn't recognize the song at first since the arrangment was so different. Didn't immediately know where he was going with it, but it unfolded piece by piece right before my eyes and ears. It just really struck me as unique and incredible, and "wowed" me in a big way. I can't do justice describing it. The highlight for me in a night of LOTS of highlights. I'd KILL to have a recorded version.

He already played it in australia that way. And there are recordings of it floating around, both from the main show and the aftershow (with Seal).

Is it similar to the way he did it at the Xenophobia celebration in 2002?

Loved that.

Don't get me wrong...P's version from the Chicago concert last night was way better. Too bad he can't seem to capture that sound and energy on his recent studio tracks. Peace y'all.

Hi therrre biggrin

I've been trying to locate a recording of the slow version ever since falling in love with it at the Melbourne May concert. It was on YouTube within days of the show, I downloaded it but then my house got robbed and my laptop stolen! :'( I didn't care about losing the laptop or my jewellery or cash, but I basically cried at losing that SPINECHILLING version of ICNTTPOYM :'( Of course by the time I lost it, it was long gone from YouTube.

I would be the happiest girl in the world if anyone can show me where a video or audio of this can be found.

xoxoxo!!!!

Does it sound like the version that he did at the Celebration back in the early 2000s? That was the jam.

The one he did at an aftershow with Seal in Australia..Is by far the best version to ever exist! The emotion and guitar!

I have the video too, if you want to see a true guitar player check out that version!!!
