Thank you Jesus that I missed these gigs. When does he not play massive guitar? He lets Shelby and the rest do all the singing but pays himself more. His songs are stale. When he starts stinking live it's time to call it a day.

you are either all in or out with Rolling Stone mag, no in the middle. I just doubt they will follow-up with nite 2 when he killed it and he likely will kill it again 2nite. This gained him tons of negative press, more press than usual!! I believe if he killed it night one they (RS etc) would have ignored it. Not to say that P and his people should not had this coming. How many legends play debacle shows like that?? Hopefully a lesson learned, something wrong with planning. If this happens say once every 5 years it will be no biggie but you just can't keep playing el crap shows every year but I think RS owes it to the readers to followup with nite 2/3 when he kills it.

Of course, yes, it's very unfortunate for those who went to the United Center on Monday night, and I understand if they still need to vent, but my gosh, people (who weren't even at either show) can be so vicious and judgemental. He's apologised several times, offered to make it up to the HOB attendees and absolutely killed it at the next concert, so I'm not sure what more you expect.

What you and he have to understand is all I'll have is that moment. And he has no idea what was done to get to the show(Vacation from work, travel, tix cost). Happy he is asknowledging trying to amend to those he can but I'm still injuried. I have a job and a family and won't be running up and down the road to see him. Chi is 2 hours away from me. It is a missed opp for him and a disappointment for me. I'll get over it and I'll see the next show in Chicago, can't stop loving something you've loved for 30 years but I'm upset perhaps I expected too much...His A game whenever he performs (that's his only job right?). Perhaps we both were having a bad night.

Prince has an off night and still plays a two-hour show, leads a huge band, and dances his ass off even though he’s not really able to play his guitar. Sounds to like Prince still did a better show than most musicians half his age can.

As for the review, I've read tons of bad reviews from attendees, it was a duff show by all accounts - shit happens. Worse than the sound and technical difficulties, I just hope it's not a sign of things to come in terms of backing singers doing most of the work.

That would be heartbreaking if this were the case. My wife has yet to be blessed with seeing him in concert live(not dvd), so I hope something is not happening to him or his voice that's affecting his live shows. I regret never seeing MJ in concert and I don't want that regret to roll over into she not seeing him in an awesome live set.

Some of you folks should pop your heads in to the 'Concerts' forum and have a read. It's..interesting.

Rolling Stone's stink eye is their problem. Aside from Monday night's unfortunate event, Tuesday, he brought his A-game (judging from the overwhelming number of positive reviews) and Wednesday, he brought it again which I was fortunate enough to witness personally. Hell, no one is perfection all of the time. He knew Monday was a disaster and he did what was necessary to right the wrong. Understandably, some fans from Monday night are still sore but come on, far worse and heartbreakingly tragic experiences in life can happen. Put things into perspective. Try and catch him again, you'll probably be glad that you did. I met fans last night that did go to Monday night's debacle but came back not only on Tuesday to witness a spectacular performance but Wednesday also. I appreciate his artistry and so do his millions of other fans. So the Rolling Stone, in my opinion, can keep it moving.
