Don't be silly: you know that many orgers consider music they don't like as a personnal offense from Prince, that they can't just ignore it and listen to something else because Prince has a spell on them that FORCES them to listen to music they hate every day and have their lives ruined by it, and that therefore none of such music should ever be released regardless of what other people think of it.

Actually no, because none of the previous jams sounded like a plastic horror.

There's a week or two before the concerts start, I hope we get something coz I bet youtube is going to be guarded like Fort Knox.

Well it's not far wrong Vitriol. You said in the other thread it makes you feel ashamed.

Of course, and I mean it: His albums and concerts since 2004 onwards make me ashamed of being a fan.

But that has nothing to do with my comment. I was just replying about the reaction, really worthy of a 7 year old.

I'm not going to fight you because you know that, well... you know that I don't get into fights with you wink

But... I don't really understand why people get angry about artists releasing music (or books or movies or whatever) they dislike. Sure sometimes you're a bit pissed at wasting your time the first time you listen to/watch/read it, or at spending money in order to do so, but in the end no one forced you to do it in the first place, the internet allows you to get a taste of things for free before buying, and honestly there are so many records to listen to that well... why waste one's time bitching at the ones we dislike?

It's like all these poor souls who spend more time writing again and again on this forum that they WON'T listen to Andy Allo's album because their time is too precious... than the time they'd actually spend listening to that album once falloff

Who's 7 years-old now? lol wink

But who said anyone here was "angry", besides you? No one's getting angry with Prince for releasing straight light, bullshit jams. They're just opinions, and ones that are freely given. Just as people will give one that's either middle of the road or good.

And what's wrong with announcing the intention of never listening to Andy's album?? Just like there are people here who have posted that they're willing to check it out (*snicker*), there are those who post the opposite opinion. I don't see anyone complaining when the majority of users on here talk about how they REFUSE to listen to Lil Wayne or Beyonce or whatever other artist they absolutely deter because their time is too precious for that shit. No one is saying THAT'S being overly negative and a waste of time. Or is that only because it's an opinion that's popularly shared around here?

It's almost as if some of you want ONLY positive Prince opinions on this site. If you have a free mind to say something negative about the man or some of his music, then you start getting asked, "Why are you even here?" and being called hateful, angry, pathetic, or whatever else these people use to describe someone who's not afraid to tell it like it REALLY is, no matter what any others might say.

Especially in the case of FREE streaming rehearsal jams.

Why would anyone who doesn't like them get upset about them? That's kind of retarded, isn't it? If it costs nothing to find out you don't like it, at least you can simply never listen to it again. Those of us that want them, can...

Deal with it!

thank you very much. Old Friends is an inspired choice. Now then 3 more requests:

1] Come back to Manchester [UK] soon

2] Post me the keys to the vault

3] Only release R&R Affair with a real horn section.

lol
