I wonder if it is possible for you to help me draw up a chronology of Prince songs in date order as they relate to specific women (girlfriends or otherwise) who are known to have inspired such music in Prince's life?

It may be revealing to see what kind of patterns are revealed, thematically, in terms of the type of women and the type of relationship Prince was finding himself drawn to at different periods of his personal life and how such women either added to/detracted from the quality of his music as well as his own personal growth?

To begin with, can we list every single known woman Prince has had "an affiliation" with? Secondly, or alongside this, can we list which songs which women are known to have inspired and, thirdly, during which time period were these songs created?

its a good idea to check in the associates forum,im sure this has been covered before.

itspretty safe to assume that prince doesnt grow or change much in his relationships(most people dont). the songs follow the basic outline of relationships:

lust/attraction>> irresissatble bitch,beautiful ones etc

power struggles >> strange relationship, something in the water etc

break up>> gotta a broken heart agin,when doves cry etc
