has Prince ever eluded to a fav video game? He talked about an offer he had with guitar hero once, but I guess he didnt like the deal. I was just wondering has he ever mentioned a game that he was/is into. I think I saw a picture of a recroom @ Paisley Park, does anyone know if anything is hooked up in there? If we still had the npgmc, ide ask him what his xbox handle is Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one bird.

wasn't there meant to be a playstation Prince game? I think it was rumoured about the time of the symbol album - maybe the rumour turned out to be 'interactive'

It was intended for the Sega CD and was based on editing your own versions of the "Diamonds and Pearls" video's. Big Chick

sad he was too gready to let them use his music for guitar hero/rock band.
and do not even try to say it was because he wanted people to learn how to play guitar for real. When asked the majority of his answer was about money. And it was not until after that he mentioned playing real guitar.
the fact is (even if those games are not as popular now) they did 3 things: 1) the allowed the player to experience music in a new way. 2) introduced people to the idea of playing an instrument (the last version of these games used REAL guitars or once with over 100 buttons with 6 each over many frets that could be used to do actual cords and keys) 3) introduced people to many many new songs. The whole lost/ missed/ rejected possibility of the Guitar Hero games is a shame. Imagine the exposure his music would receive and almost certainly influence a new generation of interest. I'd especially have enjoyed the special release sets like Kiss, Metallica & AC/DC have seen with the replica scaled guitars. Can just see a Cloud & Symbol guitar package complete with symbol plectrums.

During the 2002 Xenophbia Celebration, I hung out in a little lounge area off the 1st floor studio, and there was a Sega Genesis hooked up to a little TV. I thought it was funny to have such an old game console, but I figured Prince had mo bettah things to do than play Sonic the Hedgehog.

The Journey game rocks and is also insanely difficult. Not to be off topic but that brought back memories of playing that and getting to the Bouncer stage !!! Big Chick

Anybody actually know how to get this to work on Vista or Windows 7? "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

In the outtake rehearsal 'The Flow' they have the sound effect of an early Nintendo i believe. I always felt the intro part of 'The Dance' (3121 version) sounded very similar to the music in Call of Duty....
