I'm not feeling the fro either. Back in the day, when his first LP came out, he had a very large fro that worked. My first impression when I saw him today was that it should be cut lower, but then I thought that would make him look too "normal". That ain't about to happen.

He looks fly and cool with his hair like this..I think it works perfectly on him! Nice to see him not wear it relaxed or permed.

I like how he mentioned someone else will release his vault material, at least we know it won't be destroyed like some have claimed

I am expected to see everything to come from Prince. I think the interview was nice in that, we know Prince cares about social problems. He just isn't throwing the bible in people's faces, he is making the decision to highlight these issues by donating money and doing what he can for the causes of people everywhere. The fact that he is working with Van Jones, and Rosario Dawson is truly is inspiring, and good to know. So fantastic! I support his vision, and I am happy for those of you in Chi-Town!

I can't wait to see him LIVE! Prince is still doing his thing, and his persona is very clean. The fact that he does not do many interviews and it not concerned about social media...works good for him. YES, I don't mind him getting a Facebook or YouTube...BUT at the same time, his strategy, is working for him. He will always be around, just in the details!

Keep going on Prince! I love you brother!

P.S The yellow pants and black jacket thing, could have been divorced though! LOL

He could have easily wore some black pants, that could have matched with his other blacks! LOL..In addition to forgetting that leather thing! lol

The 'Fro' just needed a little shaping. I say keep it and grow some long twists or something. This is just the beginning stages of the hair transition.

NOW.....as superfly and fine as Prince normally is, WHY, WHY, WHY did he wear this mixed-matched outfit?!!

He was trying to hide that 20Ten shirt with his picture on it underneath. The jacket was hideous and too big. The Yellow pants DID NOT GO

I'll give him a pass since we all really know what time it is with his usual style. The new project with Van and Rosario with Rebuild the Dream is fantastic.

But was what was wrong the afro? its not like it was messy, it was picked to perfect. Is it bcuz it was too neat? or too black?

I just dont think anything was wrong with it, it was well-combed. however I think he would look good with a twist out or something.

There was something the struck out for me, when prince talked about van jones, how he admires him and mentions how he is a great dad or something similar to that. I was also wondering the same thing when he talked about Van Jones being a good father. It did seem like he really admired him for that and could possibly still desire to have a family of his own. We never get to hear him talk like that and I am happy to somewhat get a glimpse of his heart on the subject. I wonder if Mayte has seen the interview.

That was harsh and yet quite visual.

That was quite a cute little piece, I think Prince gets lost on these kinds of shows though, they expect guests to pop and be very perky and quick, and that isn't really him is it in an interview situation, he just tends to clam up because he knows they want a little snippet soundbite jokey answer to each quickfire question, but his answers need a bit of explaining or context often.
