SOTT Tour Memories

Loving the recent Purpleaxxxe1972 tour threads...sooooo, anyone here witness this tour? This seems to be one of the few tours that doesn't have a lot of bootleg releases that cover it.

I do have a Paisley Park rehearsal that I love even more than the album itself, the only song not performed on it is It. I also have the New Years Eve Benefit video from Paisley Park that captures the whole Paisley Park live vibe perfectly.

It was my first concert ever, Galgenwaard stadium Utrecht, NL and of course made a huge impression on me. What a show.

I did find a bootleg on the internet of the very show i attended just a few months ago. Wasn't there a live bootleg on double LP out? I did have a recording on tape which was taken fromthat album i thought. Found that one somewhere as well. Didn't hear it for a decade or two but remebered every note, scream and whatever from it.

Ahhhh back in the days.

I've got heard about two SOTT Dbl LP gigs on vinyl so they're around.

As for my SOTT Tour memories, they consist of me remembering how chuffed I was to have great tickets for Wembley, quickly followed by his cancellation of the whole leg and me being gutted.

Those shows where cancelled just before the gig i attended in Utrecht: there was so much rain that they thought about cancelling the gig. we where asked to keep our tickets as arrangements had already been made for the shows to be rescheduled in Ahoy'Rotterdam. (1 time Galgenwaard = 2 filled up ahoy' shows in those years). The show i attended was performed (shortened in a bit i believe), and the shows in Ahoy took place as well.

Too bad you missed this tour, i mean it.
