Hi!

I just got Dirty Mind,Controversy,1999 and Purple Rain on 180g vinyl here in the Uk for £70 all together.

None of them state anything about being a reissue or remaster. None of them have a Rhino logo anywhere. The covers seem to be a straight reproduction of the old vinyl LPs (bit darker print especially Dirty Mind).

The only thing thats different is they state "MANUFACTURED IN THE UK" and on the label on the vinyl.

Can somebody shine a bit of light on this as I thought these are meant to be American pressings from Rhino.

Just a bit concerned they might not be the genuine article.

the 180g reissues were released in the USA as well as in Europe.

It should say made in the E.U. on the label (not UK)

Yes, sorry my mistake it does say 'MANUFACTURED IN THE E.U.' on the labels of the vinyl and on the spine of the covers (exept the Purple Rain cover).

Was surprised that it did not have any other markings at all (Rhino,re-ssue, 180g...)

So happy to got those records again, obviously i got the originals back in the day but they're back home and probably pretty scratched.

I know this has been asked before but are there plans for any more re-issues?
