Does Prince have wig? I was looking old and new Prince videos yesterday and i thought looking "musicology" video and others too....... When he was performing in Finland last year people keep saying that he's got wig........ Does someone more about it ? | |

The only time I ever suspected a wig, was the Rave era. Because it grew a massive amount from the previous year. Look at the difference between New Power Soul and Rave. | |

Any time you saw more hair than this on Prince during the Welcome 2 America(or insert country) concerts that was a hair piece. This is Prince without hair piece:

Let us also not forget the scalp make-up, he uses to dim the shine of any bald spots, he has as well.
When I saw it running down the side of his face, during the Musicology Opening night movie, I was embarrased for him.
Next thing you know? He writes a song about that incident!

I always have wondered about his hair! I mean, all of the work he has done to it, is it really healthy? I mean, am sure it is...But it's been permed, and relaxed, and so many things! So if he doesn't have any more hair, I am sure he will do like he said on a live performance of 'Prettyman' in 1999

Other pictures at this event show it more. But I believe it is fine/thin hair which makes it hard to work with, thus the need for a hair piece to do elaborate hair styles. And if you think Prince doesn't wear a piece then how did it grow 7 inches for the next day performance. I believe by Prince showing up without the hair piece and the next night at a concert wore the piece-basically told us the public I got nothing to hide. He looks cool either way. Yeah he probably does when he is onstage and sometimes in public, but he's an entertainer and is selling an image, so can't blame him. Also , we would rather have Prince with wig than bald Prince, I think it's safely to say. He give us what we want and sometimes some extra help with hair on top is required to do that..

On this Oscar picture his hair isn't thin it's slicked back with some wax,gel or something.it isn't short. I don't thinl he wears a wig,but he colors his hair. | |

My husband will be 51 in December. His hair and skin tone are similar to Prince.
He looks fantastic with the gray he has in his hair.
Where Prince has done himself a dis-service is covering his gray for as long as he has. If he were to suddenly go natural, it would be a HUGE shock and it would age him greatly.
My husband as grayed over the years. When I look at pictures I get a shock at how much he has changed.
Were Prince ever to ask my advice (HA HA...HA HA...HA HA...HAAA :-J ) I would suggest that he start to let his gray show slowly not all at once and CERTAINLY stop covering it. If he were to let it happen gradually, it would become the the image he's selling.

Nope. I say color your dang hair. When I get to a point were I have to color my hair, I will. Grey hair has a tendency to wash out faces making them look sick or grey. I look at Anderson Cooper's face and he looks 55. (The hair color ages him.) I'm not saying he should go all Anderson Cooper, eventhough I think AC is really great looking. No one but Prince knows if he's that gray at all.
As I said, he should gradually increase the gray in his hair not go shock and awe.
As a woman, I will probably still be coloring my hair at 55, so if Prince chooses to that's totally understandable. Not just because I do it, but because it's understandable.
I'm just saying that it doesn't bother me in the slightest that he is 54. I'd still find him sexy as hell with gray in his hair. I'd rather see him with gray in his hair and with his hair more natural than foppy wigs and runny hair color.
