How many more years? Prince has been doing the same set of songs since, well, basically 2001. At the latest 2004.
To put that in perspective, that'd be like him doing the same arrangements/set-list in the "Love Symbol" era as he was doing in Purple Rain. We can't even imagine that since his sound changed so much from 1984-1992. From 2004-2012 though -- same exact sound. Dated or just inevetable plateu?
In any event - how long before he does a new arrangements? Or is that even possible | |

He changes arrangements all the time. Let's Go Crazy last year at the North Sea Jazz Festival sounded different from the year before. He played Something in the Water as a piano ballad, in fact he played 3 nights that were all different. And he keeps adding new songs to the set. Of course he plays the hits, but what do you expect, really... | |

He can hardly do a residency and not play the hits can he? How is he gonna fill a venue every night unless he gives the masses what they want?
What we need is afteshows, that's what was great about the London residency. RIP  | |
