Yep got it today, seems they send out two copies a time now.

I was in Tower Records the other day,and I saw two new issues of Uptown.Not sure if these are the two issues you are looking for.

Subscribers pay $50 ( FIFTY DOLLARS) for this magazine. That is a helluva lot for a magazine subscription.

At least make some kind of effort to publish relevant and timely articles. What's the deal with rehashes of the Lovesexy tour? What's next? An analysis of the Purple Rain movie trailer?

You got detailed setlists from Japan which is good enough...maybe next issue if fans submit stuff they will publish them.

Look at the setlist matrix...all those shows had to be listened to and setlists taken down with comments on each show. That takes work and dedication.

I personally am grateful to UPTOWN for publishing this so i can see what was played on each and every show.

'Uptown' is mad expensive in 'Tower Records' now. The last issue cost me over £6!!!

The guy is such a fucking control freak, for the wrong reasons.

Regarding the price of subscription, it is expensive, and the issues are irregular, but I gladly keep up my subscription (which I've had since 1994).

Fanzines are a bit of an out-dated concept it would seem in today's internet-culture - the costs of a website would be drastically smaller than those of a published magazine.

But there is no other fan-base or organisation who puts in the level of dedication and interest in the subject of Prince's music.

And of course Uptown itself, all these are highly detailed factual accounts, made through extensive research and interviewing - There is no other person(s) doing this in the Prince community, which makes them the only reliable source of factual and historical published information on Prince's music.

Prince's official outlets are painfully obscure and untrustworthy (in terms of financial outlay and information).

I will keep supporting Uptown as long as they are in publication, which I hope is for a very, very long time yet.

Uptown hasnt been worth the money since they stopped reviewing bootlegs. ripoff Prince pimps

Again read and understand that they have covered every other tour, which is why Lovesexy is featured. It needed 20 pages to cover some 35 concerts played in Europe. And the next issue will cover the American and Japanese legs.

Another 20 pages for you to enjoy...
