Yes, it is a pattern. He reminds me of the stories of the creepy old man who see a young, attractive girl and promises to make her a BIG STAR!!!

In this case, because it's Prince in the role of the creepy old man, the young, attractive girl falls Nestea Plunge style for everything he tells her completely naive to his track record.

'bout time!. As predicted it's a tie in with the Chicago gigs etc. Just need to know if we can just buy it off Itunes or Amazon...pray that it's not just tucked away on an obscure website for DL's!!

Unless they plan to sell it at the shows in Chicago, I don't see how it can be coming out this month, at least as a physical CD. You would think that if there were an actual distribution deal in place, it would be available for pre-order on amazon.com and other sites. I have things on pre-order that aren't coming out until November.

Love the packaging but some of the recent promo pics have worked so well I wonder if it's better to have her on the cover?. We just need 1 song to catch fire on youtube or be picked up by radio. Hopefully she will be all over the net by Friday.

That's my dream for the project! But when Prince is behind this project, you have to wonder if Prince would actually ALLOW YouTube.com to host a song on its site.

well she needs to get her way and show she's not a puppet who needs to fight his battles. She is young, youtube, ITunes, FB, twitter etc belongs to her generation - its the best way to connect and promote. In not doing so P is just proving how disconnected he is, lets hope that Andy can convince him otherwise?

Glad you are very excited about it. Once you listened to her album, you can let everyone else know how it goes for you....cause those that rather prefer a Prince album are unfortunately not as excited as you are these days...

I was at the listening party in Chicago last night and she said that we will be able to order the album from alloevolution.com. However, I found it interesting that she did not have cds to sell at the event, and that she will not have cds to sell this entire residency. Who does that? I decided right then and there that if Prince did not have the good sense to use us eager Chicago fans to sell some copies and potentially promote her album (for free) then, I can't put my credit card information on a website and wait indefinitely for an album to arrive at my door step. If she has it available for immediate download, then I'll buy it.
