...because if he is the project is screwed before it's even started!. If it's out in September maybe the plan is to have her as the support act and flog copies at the Chicago shows which makes some sense. However where's the single+video, where's the TV spots, where's the internet / printed media interviews?. Does anyone know if this project is Andy's with a bit on input from P therefore it's down to her people to sort OR is it another P project that is destined to sell a few copies to his hard core.

p.s. I am really rooting for her as I really like what I hear so far.

I was kinda wondering the same thing. I wonder if Andy is too young to know about his background and track record proteges. Unless she doesn't care, maybe she was blown away by the experience when she went on tour with him.

Either way I would think there will be some kind of interview or even a few shows coming up with her performing her new music. Its like she and Bria, not a peep or sighting of them.

I've heard some snippets but no single?? I thought by now they would at least throw a single up on itunes and out to Sirius! Maybe the NPG has more in store and we just don't know. I believe in time Prince will do an internet release and we will not know until it drops and that will create the excitement. Some of his albums were so anticlimatic..like Gold! Love GoldExp but heard about every song before release date.

I thought most artists release one or two singles before their album comes out. I wonder if we're even going to see a music video.

There's no need to do alot of heavy promotion for this CD because let's face it...it's not gonna sell alot of copies anyway.Popular,well-known artists can't even sell records anymore.From a commercial standpoint,being a Prince protege in 2012 means absolutely nothing.

Having Prince involved in your career [when you're new, or up-n-coming like Andy] is pretty much suicide.

Basically, she was the newest female addition of his band. He was pretty excited about her, like the previous protegees, he compared her to a famous "insert female artist name", groomed her and made a her record a beanch of album worth materials, only to end up dust vault.

by now the webiste should be done & dusted with updates, a new song + video should be on Youtube, an interview with AP should have been done ready for media to take quotes as required [having P on board gives it a definite mass interest] and she should have a tonne of interviews ready to print.

What is the point of pouring your creative energy and passion into an album project and not pushing it -surely you want it to sell?. Lets hope that all the above is on its' way!.
