Prince & Wendy - Reflection Just saw this video for the first time. Awesome seeing them play together, and one of my favorties off Musicology. Are you ready for Jehovah's return? Cuz if you not *holds up TRC*

why this connection didn't continue doesn't make sense to me
but watching this performance was dreamy, watching their hands move on the guitars in sync
Prince Gives a Special PerformanceTavis: Nice to see you. Up next, a very special acoustic performance. We talked in this conversation about how he can play just about every instrument. He plays all kinds of music, and his audience and fans appreciate the variety of music, but I've asked him to come on tonight and to do something a little different from what he normally does. I loved that Grammy thing, but what you are about to hear now will blow you away. So stay tuned for a very special acoustic performance by Prince.

Yes. A very special song and a very profound performance. Up close, natural and simply perfect. "Free URself, B the best that U can B, 3rd Apartment from the Sun, nothing left to fear" Prince Rogers Nelson - Forever in my Life -

I forgot where I read if, maybe it was her website From her comments on that Reflections performance she was actually reflecting herself and was in a state of admiration. She said something 2 the affect of 'he's still very beautiful' etc etc
U see that look in just about every performance with them 2gether since the start

it's sad that this kind of friendship has to be so hampered. they complement each other so well.
having said that, i still do prefer the studio version of this particular track. best 1 on musicology.
and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

I love this performance...it's a great song, but just him and Wendy playing and it being so stripped down...made it truly moving. If he ever does another acoustic set...it should just be him and Wendy. They really compliment each other so well.

^^ Awww, really? That's so sweet.
I was recently reading about the supposed song "Wally" - I wish he would be more vulnerable, stripped down, and really honest in his music more often, something more like here.

One of those very special moments...time sort of stops. Prince and Wendy could play this same song together again, but it would never be the same. You know what I mean?

I agree with what EVERYONE has said! Truly breathtaking, and one of his most beautiful performances! I just love everything about it! I am always so moved when I see it. You can see they truly respect each other and admire each other!
Prince sounds so good too! The guitar playing is great and the lyrics really spark wonderful meaning!
ONE OF HIS BEST PERFORMANCES EVER! It's Button Therapy, Baby!

Know what u mean
sorta reminds me of when she joined him at the Target Center 7.7.07 show and they did a little of Sometimes It Snows In April and it softened my heart and I remember in listening 2 it a woman cried out and I said to myself "i understand purple sister"
