You'd probably never meet him, even if u were in the biz. Theres not many real life accounts of anyone meeting him, probably cos he's so famous he can't just walk down 2 Starbucks & grab a coffee, and u'd never see him in a clothing store cos he gets his clothes made 4 him or whatever. So that leaves events, concerts or the odd appearance at a club - which he has his bodyguards & entourage around him so probably no luck there Peace in the House of Prince.

My cousin danced with him bout 6 or 7 years ago at a club in Vegas, he was out on the dance floor with everyone else, I'm sure surrounded by body guards.

It's highly unlikely.
A Dutch girl though in 2010, got to sit on Prince's piano on stage during the concert and he sung to her. That was pretty cool. "Free URself, B the best that U can B, 3rd Apartment from the Sun, nothing left to fear" Prince Rogers Nelson - Forever in my Life -

I met him on the street in SF right in front of our theater. He was most cordial and sweet.

Your chances on meeting Prince if you are "in the music industry" are not that much higher than if you were not in it. People that do, e.g. catering during events might get closer to stars than "B-list" musicians, producers or record label employees. Sometimes they'll even get to chitchat with them for quite a while if the performers have some time to kill off backstage.
The correct answer is of course that you should be an attractive woman and try to get your ass to an event where you think Prince could be.
