"string" version of kiss

Listening to the radio on the internet recently, I've come across a good station that plays mostly jazz:

KPLU in Seattle, Washington.

1 of the songs in their current playlist is a cute little version of "Kiss", by a group called the Zapp String Quartet, a group from Holland. This version of Kiss sounds like a mix of classical & hillbilly music! It goes from the 1st verse right into the "guitar solo", including that mid-solo "ow!" that the little man yelps. Then, the song goes off in some other (improvised?) direction, & then comes back for 1 more "you don't have to be rich" chorus..
different, indeed- but cute!

This version is worth hearing at least once (if you haven't heard it already)..
so check it out on KLPU
or maybe you can hear a sample of the song from the group's website

zappstringquartet.com

(I've been trying to go there, but I keep getting an "error" message..)

KPLU JUST played kiss about 20 minutes ago-
around 2.50pm EST-
so you may want to try the station tonight, or sometime during the day tomorrow.
Hell, those of you still digging Prince- particularly his current "style" of music- you probably dig jazz anyway..
They're playing it quite regularly, so if you listen long enough, you'll hear it!

The influence of that little man is still.. far reaching!
I'll see you tonight..
in ALL MY DREAMS..
