Not bad but needs to work on her Latin/Afro Cuban 3/2 clave. Seems kinda lost at some of the changes Giovanni throws at her.

We just received this breaking news out of Paisley Park;

Hannah Ford has been added as guest drummer to PRINCE’s touring band, the New Power Generation.

She is currently in Chanhassen, Minnesota taking photos and has apparently has been there on 2 other occasions with her husband Joshua jamming with Prince and several members of the band…

I think something that would add some serious 'excitement' or interest 2 Prince is an all girl band, it's almost there.

the was his dream, i believe he mentioned in an interview mid 90s he wanted an all girl band that was funky.

I was right. It meant a tour. 1st date September 24th.

Got in early with a tweet to her ( @HannahFordDrums ), saying to expect a few more followers now she is part of the NPG.

She was nice enough to tweet back "blessings". I was hoping for "smooches" but that'll do

Ahhh, this is all making sense now...

She's based in Chicago, and Prince has now announced a "Welcome 2 Chicago" residency, hence the "guest drummer" title.

If not, then I really hope we can hear her drumming skills louder than we did the mega talented Andy Mckee's guitar during the Oz tour. You Windy City Folks are in for such a ride!!!! God, I wish I could visit my very good friends who recently moved from Paris to Chicago! My springtime Parisienne visits to Boulogne-Billancourt are alas no more! Must tell them to go see my man or regret it the rest of their lives!! Ahhh, I wanna Prince show!!!!!

Except Sheila E should be the drummer. A full on lady back up group would be cool and ground breaking for a major act to do.
