The drums you hear on RnR song is Linn drum,Linn is an old friend of Prince since 1981. Regarding others the only new player is Andre Gouche.horn players are just guests | |

Im not sure if this is Linn drum programming, could be 'tight' live playing. It sounds very much like MB playing to me (John Blackwell is also an option). His cymbal use, timing in rhythm and fil-ins, etc... of course, im not sure at all.
