EDUCATION - Before Prince: Music and More...

1) I had absolutely no idea just how eager some of his female contingent are to get inside his knickers horny

2) I didn't have a real understanding of how Prince's business affairs affect fams worldwide e.g. NPGMC / Crystal Ball fiascos sad

3) I really had no concept how popular some of Prince's associated artists are; e.g. the Wendy and Lisa club and Tony M. / Larry G. haters omfg

4) I was not particularly clued up about how widespread and accessible the bootleg market has become nod

5) I didn't even think that Prince would attract heartfelt, let alone knowledgeable, debaters and followers of religion pray

6) I had little regard for the Parade album disbelief

Prince school has all kinds of students, at all levels. What have you learnt? reading

I've learned a lot, heard a lot and received a lot. There's no place like "home".

I've learned that the longer and the more thoughtful your thread is, the less responses you'll get.

I learned a lesson similar to the one in which a teacher once told me how to approach reading a book. Just keep asking yourself this question about the author:

"Who is this bastard, and why is he lying to me?"

i.e. Be ready for plans to change, stories to go untold, surprises to crop up.

And so it goes with Prince as well!

I've learned that Princes original message is lost on some die hard fans, especially the most outspoken who "think" they got it.

It isn't the clientel per se..its the misinterpretation of lack of understanding the message of what Prince used to be all about. Bunch of poseurs a lot of them are. They go to the concert and dig the message and agre with it ( not the religion etc per se but the Uptown manifesto)but when they leave they go back to their shiny metal boxes and closed minds etc.

I have never really spent significant time with any Prince fams, outside of concerts. Except here, of course. mr.green

I've learned that Anji is very analytical nod

and - that there are certainly all different

reasons why people are attracted to Prince's music.
