Does anybody else think that 3 Chains O'Gold could have been, like, a well good Pepsi Commercial? That's what that riff reminded me of back in the early nineties where war was moderate and sugarized beverages were not sweetened with the lies and hypocrosy of growing your own sugar.

I can see that. *Fade into Paisley park, Prince is mastering 3 Chains O Gold, but the song is still only a basic track lacking its driving guitar lick. Tony M. is trying to rap to the song while drinking some cola (which looks suspiciously like New Coke). Prince asks for a sip of his drink (which has a purple straw in it now for no reason) and Prince makes his stank face at it (you know, that classic face from the Kiss video or Under The Cherry Moon) before spilling the drink on Tony M's face. Mayte walks into the room with a Pepsi and he drinks it. After he drinks the Pepsi he gets wide eye'd and grins before improvising the guitar part to 3 Chains O Gold."
