Well, it seems it's something he enjoys doing and I don't think celebs should be blamed for a site DrF chose to do on his own. Everyone has a passion and often times, many people tend to put their passion(s) over their health until the day comes that they get a wake up call, when they realize their health is taking a turn in another direction.

To stay in competition with the other sites mentioned, he needs to work with a team in getting the info out instead of trying to do it all alone, especially if he has a health issue that should be a 'priority', even if it is a goal of his to have a popular celeb website, as the ones mentioned. He could always hire interns for free, like many other people who maintain websites. Wish him well, but he should put his health first and as far as seeking health insurance, should look into a health facility/hospital center that may offer low-cost fees for outpatient clinic visits based on a patient's income.

I was a bit being sarcastic about Prince paying for his medical costs.

Totally believe people should follow there passion/hobbies. And theres nothing wrong with competing with other celebrity sites he has to anyway, therefore if they can make it so can he. I hope he accomplishes in what he wants and wish him much success.

I've conversed with J back in the org old days, hes always been respectful and nice to me, never arrogant or big-headed just humble. It is sad to read hes so ill, but putting your hobby before your health? thats just plain stupid. Without himself there is no blog/site, without his health he would be dead. Hes not a mindless teenager hes a grown man who has serious issues to deal with.

I would donate for his health but not for a gossip site. That public message he sent is not clear what the money is exactly for....hmmm. Anyway to run a blog/site theses days you can get it for next to nothing. He has advertisements on there so some money is coming in.

If he were to die tomorrow, people would mourn him for a year then there will be another fan blog/site up with Prince regardless. J has been around for a long time to know this, Prince has easily been able to get his stuff out before DrF blog was around and Prince will still be able tomorrow and the day after that. The internet is fickle. Prince is fickle. Fans are fickle.

He needs get off that blog and fb etc and start seeking ways into taking care of himself then comeback healthier and afresh.

Other than the "Coulda Shoulda" song the songs with Larry are absolute SHIT. Watered down weak ass funk facsimiles and awful lyrics, as is the norm from Prince for awhile now.

And I don't know what world you live in but Prince has not had a "mega-hit" album in ages and one is not coming anytime soon. Whatever he finally gets around to releasing will be met by the same indifference all of his albums since "Diamonds & Pearls" have been by the masses.

Uh, he was asking for money on his site, not this one. The moderator is the one who put the link on here. I would give if I could afford. He's probably the closest thing to a real Prince website we have.
