As most know u know, I am a Purple Rain The Movie fan, HUGE fan. Maybe some of u know more than myself.

I have noticed in a few times on the video "Let's Go Crazy" and even the Purple Rain trailer were scenes that were not in the movie . I do wish there was a Purple Rain 25th anniversary DVD released including those deleted scenes.

Is this urban legend of am I correct in thinking there are some deleted parts of the classic movie.I do remember the PR trailer when Priince confronts members of the The Time 2 get Apollonia can some1 co-sign with me?

There was a great scene cut where he's in a hovel building a lightsaber before he hears the call from his father.

I'm amazed that the directer's cut hasn't been released already.

The 25th anniversary has passed, the movie will be celebrate it's 30th in two years. (Man where did the time go?) It would be nice if WB would release those scenes on a DVD anniversary, but I doubt it.
