Naw, I'd say the majority here may be a little younger than Prince. But, during the time I have been on, older fans have left and been replaced by younger fans on this board--which I think is a sign that Prince IS passing on his legacy to the younger generation... But, thanks to some of us who have exposed our children to the evils of Prince's music.. now, they are hooked!

LOL!!! Now that made me laugh. This thread seems to be on the right track and in the positive which was my intent. I am amazed at all the young bucks. I attended a Prince concert in San Jose back in 1997. I chatted with some other fans and all four of us were 27 years old. It tripped me out! klick

For a moment, but that's all! I'm pleased to see that so many younger peeps are into Prince and want to learn more... My son is teaching himself Prince music on electric guitar for the past four years... Nice legacy.

I am 53. Now, I'm in incredible shape and also I get my hair painted so there's no gray, and these things make me look younger. But I am 53.

BTW, I'm not the oldest person here. There are/were a handful of orgers older than me.

Yeah, when I found out his age, somewhere in Music:Non-Prince probably, I was surprised too. It's because Smooth makes good posts, just seems more mature. Jester too, but he's not over in Non-Prince much. Now some of the girls under 25, somehow not too surprised to find out they are in their teens based on their posts (blanking out on specific ones; it's just a general sense).

I like that different "generations" can share and pass on knowledge and experiences, and share perspectivies. I LOVE hearing stories from people who were THERE in the '80s, '90s, and even '00s - off the top of my head, Unique has great stories, for example.
