on metal sludge it has an interview with trip eidsen from static x and they ask him what he thinks of a list of people, one of them is prince. they never usually mention prince in interviews so presumably tripp has mentioned him before. anyway, tripp says this


Prince = one of my biggest inspirations, not so much lately with all the Jesus crap


just thought it was cool that someone in a sort of heavy/death/nu metal band (not sure what definition they are) finds prince as one of his biggest inspirations. pretty cool.
