So a number of you loonies people get together and pay nearly two grand for a book with a few extra pictures in it and an unseen docu/whatever on a fucking iPod?

Remember the hype surrounding the Musicology docu footage that was sold by EYE records? A lot of people claiming it would be so exiting, and that it would be great blah blah. Then what happened after it was released?...No one mentioned it at all. Why? Because it was shit, that's why.

Do you seriously think the content is really worth the hassle of getting a group of likeminds to release this footage in the crappy quality it will no doubt be in? And then running the risk of not being able to sell the book and iPod to the next mug?

Really, stop and think what you are doing. Are you doing this to spread this footage for the love of music, and for it to be a gift to the fans? Or ar you doing it so you will be able to masturbate over all the thank you comments you recieve?

Good luck.

I don't usually know you for being agressive or rude this way, I am even quite surprised as you are usually among the sweetest and nicest people on this forum eek eek eek eek

Maybe havin' a bad day, huh?

I can't speak for the other "loonies" but I spoke about buying an ebay one, not the full-priced brand new one. I don't really care to masturbate over thank you's (I prefer porn movies) particularly since I'm not gonna brag about it if it ever gets done and hopefully no one else will. The documentary would just "appear" online. The only reason in my case is to allow people to have something they simply CANNOT buy by themselves, and not behave like an ass and keep it for myself like the few people who bought it did so far.

The risk of not being able to sell it back on ebay was taken into consideration and, though quite low, is why even with an ebay price sharing the prince makes everyone quite certain not to lose much money.

Olb99: of course everything would have to be carefully organized and therefore thoroughly discussed between the parties involved. I'm not sure if it can be done here but if not, there is another, smaller, place where it could MAYBE be achieved. Let's see...

Oh c'mon it was a figure of speech, i don't even KNOW these people. But ok u made ur point: I was being rude, I stand corrected and I apologize.

Would you happen to be one of the people who have bought it so far? Why are you so sensitive regarding this subject while, as said earlier, you are usually the coolest orger around?

I apologize too. I did not mean to sound agressive or whatever.

No, i'm not one of the people who have bought a book. I just thought it was a crazy idea to buy one just to share a video that no one will probably talk about after it's put on the net.

Still, it's not my money, and none of my business.

You are right, i'm having an off day. I should have worded my reply better.

Sorry about ur day, sincerely hope things'll get better hug

The whole thing is I'm a completist. This doc is official, it's out, it contains music, therefore even if it sucks (and I'm sure it does) I have to have it but... I can't have it because I'm rich enough to pay $77 for a website but not rich enough to pay $2200 for a 40mn video.

So I think let's share the costs, makes sense after all.

And by extention I think I'm not the only completist around and many people must be curious to see this. Sure it may not be a gem, but it's an official release. The 3 Chains O' Gold video collection wasn't really a must-have but still I'm sure most fans are glad to have a copy of it just for fun, so God let's share it online. I don't even think it's gonna ruin their market as the only people who can afford it probably care more about the whole object than the unreleased music lol
