I'm loving this song, kinda reminds of It's a wonderful day. Love the horns and the way they kind of breakdown at the end. This is quirky inventive Prince.

Now if only we had The Voice inside in this quality.

Great song. I agree it's quirky and fun.

Seems to have been overlooked compared to Go.

I'm now on a serious outtakes trip.

Gonna have to rearrange my Purple Underground Set.

I actually really like this. Beats the living daylights out of Fuchsia Light.

Off the bat, I'm not really digging it like Go. I have to throw on headphones and listen to give it a true assessment and really hear the lyrical content.

I'm LOVING this track! The background vocals a couple of minutes in are tremendous! It's curious that on the released song The Max, he references the "contrary to popular belief" and "this is the max" lines, but used absolutely nothing else from the original. Oh, to spend some time in the vault... drooling

It's not the same song.

One more example that Prince's peak "back-up harmonies" wise was in the 88/89 period.

Maybe because both songs drew their influence from James Brown.
