I am not up on what Prince has been doing as of late but I dont think I have heard a cd of his in years now. Does he have anything new coming out anytime soon? Thanks in advance

Right now he seems to be focusing his energy, money, time on Andy Allo's new record. I think they are gearing up for a joint tour likely similar to the Tamar/Prince tours in '06. In terms of his own cd I'm sure he's recording but he hasn't hinted at his own record.

He hasn't announced anything but like everyones saying, he worked on Andy Allo's CD (which I'm pretty excited about) and the new GCS CD. I was thinking about this earlier and he's probably gonna wait to see how people react to his additions to both CD's. I feel like Andy's is gonna be poppy and that GCS was gonna be... well funky (what'd you think? Larry Graham doing opera!?). I sorta feel like he's using both CD's to test the waters of how people will react to his additions to their music and base his next album off of what sells better or gets the better response. Sorta like how he wanted to release Come and The Gold Experience together to see what "brand" would do better. Just my 2 cents.

I hope that u are wrong.............Larry's voice ruined his new project and no one knows who Andy is.

...there is nothing like pure Prince. he has said b4 that he doesn't like anything pure, but, please, please, release music that is just you. i am sure that Andy's is wonderful but the energy changes when it is something that is not Prince in the lead.

i am still waiting for an acoustic album...plz.

Did you get the "Extraloveable"(2011 vers) or the "Dance 4 Me" remixes? Both from last year on itunes.
