Fuschia Light take 2

I heard this song in very good quality, this is a cool outtake from the Lovesexy Era , i like the horns but the structure& melody of the song is not the most inspired song written by Prince from this era!

There is a story about this some kinda feud between Lib and T maybe.

The longer version circulating (not in general circles) is about 6 minutes long and in much better quality according to Lib.

I don't have it, but traded wih him a couple of times in the early 00's and some correspondence.

Is he still around, under a new name maybe?

I have to observe the rules ..this is why i got this opportunity to listen these unreleased songs, if not...Nothing to listen....nothing to appreciate as a fan....in few weeks i think u will get this opportunity too (fingers crossed)!

Fuchsia Light is an unreleased track recorded on 15 April, 1988 at Paisley Park Studios, Chanhassen, MN, USA (on the same day as Love 89). The track was recorded for possible use on Tony LeMans' Paisley Park Records 1989 album Tony LeMans, and at some point between mid-1988 and early 1989, Tony LeMans recorded lead vocal overdubs, but the song was not included on the release; Prince is believed to have pulled the song after returning from the Lovesexy Tour upon discovering that LeMans was having an affair with Ingrid Chavez.

The song's theme of a colored light being used during the act of lovemaking was later used in Blue Light, but the tracks are otherwise unrelated. Prince also reused a phrase from the track, "monogamy and trust", in the b-side Sex, but this should not be considered a quote or reference to this song.

Fuchsia (pronunciation: /ˈfjuːʃə/, FEW-shə) is a vivid reddish or pinkish purple color named after the flower of the fuchsia plant, itself named after the German scientist Leonhart Fuchs. Fuchsia is a synonym for magenta.

As someone who actually enjoyed the Tony LeMans CD, and who was looking forward to his 2nd album when news came of his death in the Summer of 1992, I remember the story as being that Fuschia Light was not a song recorded for the first album, but for the second. It was mentioned in Controversy (or Uptown, or some such rare news source back then) as the one song named on the 4thcoming album. I waited forever for anything recorded from the 2nd Tony Lemans album to surface, but 20 years on, nothing has (so far as I know).

And I never, ever heard anything about an affair with Ingrid Chavez! That seems highly doubtful as it would imply that Prince accepted the affair, let LeMans release an album on Paisley Park, kept her in his movie that had yet to be filmed, kept LeMans on his label until his death three years later, and recorded an album with her - all after she did that? I don't think so. Someone's got an overactive imagination. Now Lenny Kravitz and Ingrid Chavez - that's a whole other subject. You can Google about the disagreement over the writing credits between those two on the Madonna song.
