Prince at Montreux 2009 (HD/multitrack recording at founder's chalet)

I don't think it's confidential information, so here it goes. Claude Nobs has two chalets somewhere above Montreux and when/if you're invited up there, you can watch recordings of concerts that took place at the Montreux Jazz Festival (since 1967). When I was there, I was able to watch the Prince concerts from 2009 in Full HD on Claude Nobs' expensive "home cinema" (48 speakers, 24 microphones, huge screen). Really impressive. Also, they have the multitrack recording for the concerts, so I was able to hear Prince's voice only. Interesting. Prince should have released those concerts.

P chose not to release stuff.
It was his fault. He has experience and should have known better.
So be happy with the b00t.

Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

Yes, the 24 microphones continuously adjust the sound of the 48 speakers, so that it stays excellent no matter the number of persons in the room, etc.

I would argue that Santana has been sucking hind tit since the middle 1970s. I don't know when his set was performed, but something tells me it was during the Paul Reed Smith years. Ugh.

I was in a band that played at the Montreux Jazz Festival a good few years ago and I'm pretty sure that Claude holds the rights to any video/audio of the show, so Prince wouldn't be able to release it himself. The performance I was in was eventually released on DVD - about 80 of the Montreux shows have been released on Eagle Rock.

I saw him at Wembley around 2004-5 and that was an awesome gig. And another time at the 2007-8 at the o2 and Loved every minute of both shows.

I'm sure they weren't a patch on the original Fillmore shows but I really thought they were going to be bland affairs and a bit of a dry nostalgia gig, I was suprised when they actually packed alot of punch and energy, It didn't seem stale and by numbers. The mood was awesome.

I have to say I like the PRS

As for Montreux I think he's done it several times I know there's at least 2 different DVD's
