Elisa's version was definitely better than Mayte's. It should've been pushed as a single and maybe given a video. Her promotion seemed to be all over the place back then. There was a video for 'On The Way Up' and then a late night performance of 'Ooh this I Need'. I don't know if there was a follow-up single, anyone? When  go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all  up in the house but when log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming! | |

WOW! Havent heard this song in AGES!. Great song, and yes it coulda/shoulda been something more than just a Prince protoge's song.
And Elisa's version is 10x greater than Maytes.

Both are kinda the same version anyway. Mayte's version has the problem that it clearly highlights her vocal limitations, in a way that's almost embarrassing on a professionnal record. It's the only song on the album which has this problem so I'm not sure why they kept it, but anyway... Cute little love song anyway
