So which band actually got evicted in Purple Rain?

Assuming it wasn't the revolution
The time
Apollonia 6
Modernaires
you look better on your facebook page than you do in person hmph!

^Yeah, it's hilarious how that plot point never got resolved lol

I think the idea is that it's supposed to imply that the success of the final show means The Revolution have outgrown the venue and are headed for bigger and better things. I dunno lol

Yeah- What he^ said. So maybe in the end Prince and The Revolution got evicted because they were so awesome and ready to go out and "make it"?

I think it's between "The Modernaires' & 'Apollonia 6'. Neither band was in Graffiti Bridge wink

Suddenly a HORN BLARES off screen.

black BMW waves--

The Babe pulls into the flow of traffic-

BILLY
It won't be The Time --
they're playing backup to
Vanity. So it's either you or
the Modern Aires.


(a beat)
What would You do in my

Prince has a sinking feeling in his gut-

BILLY
(musing)
I like the Modern Aires. They
have a good following -- they
show up for practice -- and
the kids like all their music.

I'd say the modernaires and when Apollonia left after filming they just got rid of her a pretended she never existed for Graffitti Bridge
