hello, my name is Milty and i'm a Prince fan. i've been a Prince fan for a very long time. sometimes i can't stop playing Prince music or looking at this damn website. sometimes i sing prince songs in my head. soemtimes it feels like Prince is talking to me. i have spent a lot of money becuz of Prince and on Prince. i feel so ashamed. my friends told me to come to this meeting becuz they think i'm not well. i hope it will do me some good. thank you.

Well done, the first step to getting better is admitting you've got a problem. Get to 90 meetings in 90 days, listen to the similarities, not the differences, find a sponsor and keep coming back. I recommend that you read Per Neilsens book "The First 10 Years", which will show you how to be a more considerate, constructive Prince fan. You need never be ashamed of being a Prince fan ever again.

They are plenty of us out there who feel or felt the same as u. However, with time and age, you'll see beyond his little world and hoepfully, you'll come to a point where u don't buy into his 'philosophy'. You'll soon realise that he sits in his lonely room waiting for the next bestseller book to be delivered where he'll nick ideas, and use them as his own examples.
I would suggest to make the transition a little easier for you, just concentrate on buying bootlegs of stuff he played/recorded in the 80's - a time when his preaching didn't insult/offend any religious beliefs. Unfortunately his unique talend of uniting people of different faiths was shattered when he started to listen to the crap coming out of Larry Grahams mouth!

Prince - shut the hell up about JW! How dare u claim that u know the truth and we don't.

I hope NPG records folds from u're own stupidity and I hope the bootleggers continue to profiteer from the lack of business sense you continually display!

hey thanks,
you know this thread was a comment on really all of us on this website. i mean, think about it, we are all addicted if we spend all this flippin' time on here when we could be doing something better than wasting internet time like maybe baking a cake or something else. but i love the fact that i ain't the only one. i feel sooo much better.

Then you will never quit him. Nobody ever quits him unless they completely leave. Because its a Godfather thing. You leave and wean yourself out and he releases something, has a single, has a music club, there's a music site, there's a celebration etc. and once you thought you were out it pulls you back in. Thats why it needs to be cold turkey or it aint happnin'. Point blank.

My name is CherryMoon and I'm an addict also. I tried going cold turkey, but just couldn't make it. Thought I'd go crazy. I tried the purple patch and it didn't work either.

Prince, Paisley Park, it's my drug of choice:stoned: I love the high I get when I hear the sexy falsetto, see those hazel brown eyes, and get the chills when I hear JIR.

I am a Prince addict and damned proud of it.
