I'd applaud a preservation effort but we need a seriously funded attempt.

I am no expert in this area but one should decide on a long term storage medium and storage format.

Then, while converting to that new format, one should clean up and repair whatever possible. Or just store the raw material in the highest resolution possible for processing later.

These operations might require people with golden ears and some expensive gear or just people with the right expertise in tape baking, tape deck alignment, etc.

Also neither the amount of material, type of material nor condition are known.

So let us first try to assess the task at hand...

I think I qualify for the discography, but honestly with Princevault on one side and my chronological discography on the other, I think there's no need for any official discography anymore.
