01. 3121 (Black Sweat, Incense and Candles, and Love I could listen to over and over and over and... Also, while The Dance is not an amazing song, the finale portion blows me away every time.) 02. 20Ten (Beginning Endlessly, Lavaux and holy crap Laydown. Laydown is ridiculous. I was actually insulted it was included as an "untitled" 3:07 hidden track. It should have been the 12" funkathon it was meant to be!) 03. Planet Earth 04. Mplsound (This and Lotusflower haven't really aged well IMHO. Valentina is still great, though! Honestly (I'm gonna be slaughtered for this, but who cares) I think the best songs on this entire (3-CD set, if you count Bria's) are Bria's Something U Already Know. Followed by Immersion and Elixer.) 05. Lotusflower 06. The Rainbow Children (eh... If this didn't have those annoying voice overs, it would be a really amazing album.) 100. Musicology (Man, I am just not a fan of this album. I don't believe there is a thing on it that ever caught my attention. Possibly my least favorite album of Prince's EVER...)
The list of his 00/10's albums makes me sad.

No your not, why do people rank that album so low. Mplsound is a brilliant album, I love all the tracks, the tight dance of the first 3, the ballads, Valentina and then Ol Skool Company, and No more candy 4 u, the best side of music he has put out since the Gold Experience. That album is just perfect, if I want a recent Prince high. I put this on, it is just par excellence.

I don't have many and aside from Musicology, 3121, Planet Earth, haven't heard them that much...
per my personal preference, make of it what you will... I'm probably Planet Earth's biggest fan, at least here
1. Planet Earth 2. 3121 3. Lotusflow3r 4. Musicology 5. MPLSound 6. Indigo Nights (only listened to it once, no plans to do so anytime soon) 7. The Rainbow Children (I don't mind artsy, but its a little too artsy for my blood... the lyrical content, not the music) 8. ONA Piano (only because I haven't listened to it yet, lol) had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong. It started raining, baby, the birds were gone | |
