I like his more sublimated yet erotically charged material. Breathe, When I Lay My Hands On U, Mellow etc. are not as explicit as Come where he's performing cunnilingus on the microphone but still shows his bad boy side. I've always admired his ability to be sensuous, even bordering on pornographic, but not totally crossing the line. His knack for the poetic keeps the material from 2 Live Crew territory. They were not bad songs by any means, but nowhere near my favorite NPGMC downloads. When I Lay My Hands On U, Supercute, Underneath The Cream were all much better. | |

Supposedly "Madrid 2 Chicago" and "Breathe" were the only 2 songs recorded for that project as a teaser. Still I guess only Prince knows if the "M2C" album was completed.
I love these 2 songs so I always hoped for the album. Very mellow stuff. What are you outraged about today? CNN has not told you yet? | |

The non existent M2C album was in the non - existent Vault I guess. Probably there was never album intended from the very start. Prince I will always miss and love U. | |

Breathe has always been one of my favorites! I love when Prince does tracks like these!
Too bad it just shuts off!
Is there a known version to exist that does not cut of at 2:00? minutes? It just cuts off SO shortly...
His vocals are perfect and the lyrics are sublime! "360 degrees, slippery circle, the moaning has got to run"
AND I love Madrid 2 Chicago!!I love the way the linn drum sounds, it's too GREAT!

Supposedly it was planned but then P changed mind about release and never got around to finishing. According to the engineers at the time. Of course, maybe Prince worked on the release on his own and we/they don't know. I just wish it did come to fruit because I love this trax. What are you outraged about today? I love this track!! 'Breathe' is number 1 on the top of my 25 favs on my ipod. I bump this track daily...MC2 is also so cool. If there is a full version of this track, 'Breathe', I would love to hear it!!!

I've never heard this song.......see....this is why I visit this site. I have learned so much about Prince on the org. I know some of the opinions expressed here do not follow my own, but that's okay. I like hearing other's opinions. Diversity is awesome and mind opening. I also know some of the stuff discussed as fact may not be. Still it's fun to hear.
