90s era house and electronica question

Say,can anybody be able to quantify how much house/electronica/industrial/trance music Prince has stored up as b-sides and or in his vaults? Coming back from class today I listened to songs like "Sleep Around" and "The Human Body" and now I am really in the mood for that type of music! I also love "Loose" and "I Wanna Melt With U" so does anyone know if there is any more music like this available from Prince? Thanks!

I don't really know if he did that much of that sort of music but P Control is kind of in that vain, New World is sorta close, and Peace along with some of the other NPG music club songs are kinda close to that style. If you want some good house music, look up Farley Jackmaster Funk's song "Love Can't Turn Around" its a really good house song from someone thats commonly looked at as a pioneer of House. Also, the video is just epic with and makes me laugh at how epic it is... It's as if the Dad from Family Matters tried to start a music career XP

Oh and the unreleased song 'Lisa' by Prince is also kinda electronica sorta... Slightly... Ok not that much but still... And the remix of Loose from Crystal Ball which was called 'Get Loose' is also a cool track you might like. If I think of any others I'll be sure to come back here and tell you.

He did a few tracks, but not that many. Maybe you could add "Hypnoparadise" and "Strange But True" to the list, but just maybe. There are of course some remixes from the same era, like the "Beautiful" remix of "The Most Beautiful Girl In The World". Some of them he did himself and didn't even use an outside producer.

Here's your Prince techno album. wink

Gett Off (Houstyle) remix by Steve 'Silk' Hurley is still amazing, classic early 90's house.

You may be interested in the remixes of "My Name Is Prince", too.

interesting find. very much the sound of the time and it in itself samples a lot from other recordings - i suspect Junior Vasquez knew of the track when he remixed Thieves.

I love The Human Body. I find it one of his best songs from the 90's. It's awesome as electronic AND funk music, at the same time!

I don't know if this is along those lines, but maybe: Come On (hypermix)

"Hyperactive when I was small, Hyperactive now I'm grown, Hyperactive 'till I'm dead and gone"
__ __ __ __ __ __ __ __ __ __ __ __ ___

"Midnight is where the day begins"
