Fox Theater, Atlanta, 1993 -- who was there? I remember a few things:
1. A killer rendition of "Morning Papers" 2. A cool performance of "Insatiable" 3. I went nuts -- NUTS -- when he busted out with "She's Always In My Hair"! 4. A nice acoustic interlude leading into "7" 5. An utterly transcendent version of "Purple Rain" 6. A Prince lookalike -- dubbed by a heckler as "His Royal Sadness" -- making it onto the stage during "The Max" and the lights going out, and Prince saying, "say, what'choo doin', MAN?" Classic comedy. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016
Props will be withheld until the showing and proving has commenced. -- Aaron McGruder | |
