Perhaps she is from somewhere else other than the U.S. (or other English speaking countries), because Prince writes:
"I'm sorry I don't give my vioce recently."
Since Prince is highly articulate, this seems like he wrote it in a way she would say it (or understand it), which would be typical for non-native English, so to speak...
