How does one go about finding a piano arrangement of a specific Prince guitar solo? I'm walking down the aisle this October and would love it to be to a piano arrangement of a Prince guitar solo. I've been looking and looking with no success.

As a loyal Prince fan for 25 years, (was so lucky to see him in Melbourne last month), I've known for many years that 'my song' walking down to aisle would be to a Prince guitar solo. But as an amateur piano player myself I have a crazy idea about it being a piano arrangement to one his guitar solos.

Is there such a thing?

you going to have to be a bit more specific than 'a prince guitar solo'.

most reasonably competent piano players can work out an arrangement by ear and most professional players will do it as part of the gig. there's heaps of piano arrangements in sheet music form of prince 1985-1995 era and of some of his more recent albums, musicology, 3121, planet earth, some maybe have decent arrangements of guitar solos but mostly not.

Generally one does not go about finding an arrangement, but finds someone who can do it for them.

Sound likes u might have 2 create this yourself. If u can find the song u want as a midi file,

can change the guitar track to a piano on any sequencer...........and u have it.

Try "Father's Song", it has the same melody as the guitar solo in Computer Blue....The arrangement is in the Purple Rain song book.
