I thought this interview was interesting, and I am curious to know how this album will sound. She seems very happy and humble about 'Super Conductor' I am anticpating BIG THINGS!!

Although it seems Prince, and his contributions will be miniature? Still happy to hear 'Trombone Shorty' will be on this record!

What do you all think of this interview? Worth the expectation or what? lol

At least some promotion of sorts is going on. i agree that the tracks seem ok - at least hint at better production from what I can hear.

Geez...what a lame interview....

plagued with technical difficulties and after an hour she's spoken for about 5 minutes and after Big Al asked my question to her about going back out on tour with P she revealed only that she is a solo act and started as a solo act and loved touring with P but it doesnt sound like shes been invited back.....

The bright spot was a bit more of Superconductor which sounds pretty good

I'm sure she is a perfectly lovely person, but I am just beyond bored with all this.

She sure does sound like a kid here but the songs sound great, its a step up for Andy's music.

When Trombone Shorty tweeted back in the Fall, he said he just got done working with Prince, he did NOT tweet that he was "working with Andy Allo." interpret that how you will.

This is gonna be Prince's album this year. No album from Prince. He's so all over her, he invested all his energy in her album. She does nothing but giggle during that interview, and she's got a horrible singing voice.

To me this is more boring than Elixir. At least Elixir was part of a triple album, and Bria has a better voice than Andy, even tho she's wasn't good either.

only agree with this part of ur statement, She has so much energy & enthusiasm it was oozing from my pc speakers. No wonder Prince likes her. He is feeding off of her. She knows that & Prince knows that we r all listening & waiting 2 c what happens . They been playing this PR game 4 months. It got quiet 4 a lil while . Then boom. can imagine them talking & saying let's say this & do this & make them think this. With her laughing & giggling every two minutes like a school girl..But love her energy its contagious...

Prince seems very enthusiastic about this project more than any project with the exception of Bria(What happen 2 her?). mean 2 make her apart of the NPG tour. Then 2 focus solely on her project so quickly. What happen 2 Shelby's project & the Prince produced duet she had with Anthony Hamilton. guess Prince loses interest quickly. wonder how she feels about this. guess Prince making her hypeman is enough 4 her.

I wonder who's older: Prince or Allo's father?

He's turning her to a Mayte Number 2. They already got married few months back. He is in Sac cause he couldn't wait to get back to her. At this point nothing really matters for him...I mean his album-wise, if U were him, U wouldn't really give a shit either.

I'm very happy for him, he's been lookin very happy, but there is no point in forcing her onto the fans who just appear to be desperate for a Prince album....maybe it's his way of letting fans know...he's happy married man now....!!!

U have a point. always said he seems 2 b so @ peace & happy now more so than any other period. Besides the Parade period when he was engaged to Susanah. But this whole thing just seems 2 have happen so quickly. Seems like they just met. Now she is in the band & gearing up 2 a new Prince produced project. Which i'm not buying Prince had limited involvement. This is a total Prince project.. He is pulling all the strings. He couldn't wait 2 get with her after that Aussie tour..

Prince been in the business long enough 2 know the game. He knows that his fans want a new album from him. He knows they will follow any project up until they get it. He did this same thing with Tamar. bet he puts Andy out on a small gig tour which she mentioned. Builds it up. Because he knows the fans will come c her expecting him 2 make an appearance. I agree with a lot of points. Idk if they're married but I've been saying for awhile now that he looks happier. I also thought they had chemistry on stage. It also seems like he couldn't wait to see her after the tour. He was first seen out there around his Bday too. It seemed like she almost said "that's someone I really love then she quickly said ...look up to and count on for support". From the way she talked about him it seemed like genuine awe but also passion. You can tell he really means a lot to her. In the beginning like around 2 minutes big al slips and says "you and mr. Man over there" so I think P accompanied her to the studio. I bet he was eating up the good words from his "great friend".

Yep, they got married a while ago. If U think back chronologically, it will really dawn on U. U remember the hearts painted on their finger, Andy showed a wedding dress, and sources confirm a wedding took place.

On the other hand, why do we really care? It just is a shame that we will not get a new album, and I really don't like her voice. I think this is a good sign to take a break and come back when there is a new Prince album!
