I hope this isn't the author's sixth erotic novel
That list of interviewees should raise alarm bells for anyone that most, if not all, are taken from old press and media interviews, not ones conducted for the book itself.

Matt Thorne has been working on this book for some time.
It was briefly alluded to when he appeared on BBC's Front Row in 2007, following his attendance at 19 of the 21 Nights in London at the O2. ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift.

It´s about time for a more detailed, in depth Prince bio that covers more than just the years up until the name change. Sure, there have been quite a few new releases since Per Nielsen´s DMSR and Alex Hahn´s Possessed but from what I´ve seen, they didn´t really come close to the work of Nielsen, Dave Hill or Alex Hahn ( though the opinions regarding the latter are quite mixed, and understably so).
I hope this one is up to date, in depth and accurate, and does not consist of a bunch of rehashed newspaper articles like that infamous book Slave to the Rhythm by Liz Jones.
