Certain parts of Diamonds & Pearls & 7, it's probably the inclusion of children in the videos that at bit 'disappointing'

I have to say that even though it falls into the catagory of cheap,rushed,simple I love the video for Violet The Organ Grinder.

I'd say one of his best music videos ever was "Batdance". It's got lot of goods stuff going on. did oyu know some people weren't sure if that was Prince appearing as two different characters? Some people thought that was someone else with the long hair.

'Batdance' is definitely one of his best videos.It's really theatrical,dramatic and expensive Very well-choreographed,too.It's exactly the type of video that you would expect from Michael Jackson.

Notably,it was directed by Al Magnoli,who also directed Prince's best movie 'Purple Rain'.Perhaps Prince should have worked with this guy more often?

not a REALLY disappointing video at all, but I would have loved a different kind of AnotherLover... video, Kiss Mountains & Girls & Boys are in his top 5 and I love the live color & band vid of AnotherLover but maybe some other kinds of footage in the vid would have made it better

Albert Magnoli also directed Sign O' the Times the concert film. For some reason Prince took credit. But just look at the slates in the outtakes for the truth!

I hate the "Mountains" video. Prince's performance in it is amazing BUT, it would've been a much better video if the "blue-screen" special effect wasn't done so shoddily. It makes the video look cheap and low-budget. Actually I find the outtakes of the video more interesting.

I think it was intended to look fake or cheap as you put it. I like the look-it's fun.

Wow,really? I never knew that No wonder that movie is so great.When Prince uses a skilled director,the results are usually fantastic.He should have used Albert for all of his films.

He had a falling out with Prince sometime in late 1989.Albert was supposed to direct 'Graffiti Bridge' but he and Prince didn't see eye-to-eye
