30 Years Vs. Work It 2.0 sound quality? OK, so here's the story: I'd like to get rid of dupes and have one definitive version of each outtake, BUT the thing is that for now I'm relying on crappy computer speakers, with a very average sound quality. I tried comparing tracks from the 1st CD of 30YOUF to their WI2.0 counterparts and I'm not so sure... The 30YOUF seem to sound better but obviously they don't come from new lower generation tapes, they're just the same tracks that have been "remastered". Therefore I have the feeling that the 30YOUF songs have a "deeper" sound, with more "layers" being heard, but on the other hand I have the impression that the trebles have been so overpitched that they're very agressive and actually ruin the songs, and I end-up preferring the WI2.0 versions, which don't fuck my eardrums with exagerrated trebles, even though I can't hear the details as accurately on them.
On the other hand, I don't have good speakers or earphones to compare, and my lousy speakers may give me a wrong impression.
So, for those of u who are experts, which versions should I keep?

I have tried doing the same thing The problem is tracks vary from on both releases
ICNTTPOYM on 30 years is great, But i think Work it sound slightly better
30 Years - Melody Cool (Mavis Staples) is EX - missing intro? Work It 2.0 - Melody Cool (Mavis Staples) features an intro / segue from "round & Round tevin cambell" But not great quaity
Some are little things like that. Ive sorted some tracks for sure, But some i kept both copys
I will take my place, In the great below

Another note : Some one released The Work 2.0 It has a few tracks from better sources than "Work it 2.0 & 30 Years" I only have a few cds worth so i cant compare everything, but it sounds like some one did a bad job on the EQ's
But a few tracks did stand out An example would be 100MPH, This copy does not have that chewed up / muddy cassette sound And Moonbeam levels sound pretty good too I will take my place, In the great below
