The sheer volume of quality items on line lately is not before time. It was inevitable really, that not even Prince can suppress the masses. These vids are a fantastic showcase for the great man.And deserve to be seen in pristine quality.

Simply amazing. Pt2 and Take This Beat are ipod musts.

The 12" of IWYH 123 is absolutely genius, but what he does with it live IS heaven. Heaven sugar baby.

Lovesexy '88 tour was not shot on film or HD video, so the best quality would be a DVD release.

To be honest, I couldn't get into the other versions of the song. I think the original is good as it gets without all the other additional edits. Its like Kiss, its a complete track, it didn't need any additions.

That's cool you didn't get into the other parts, but the song as a whole (part 1, 2, 3), is absolutely a testament to his unmatched skills and versatility.

3 almost opposite sounding parts, back to back, but actually do sound in line to part 1! How?!

Furthermore, in this track, this man showcased so many different styles, not only in music, but in lyrics, style, personality and overall creativity...whilst still keeping it about heaven, the original topic.

From silky smooth ode to heaven, to rock-gospel style call and response, to Mpls funk mixed with James Brown (and that hilarious Starr voice!) and then proceeding to make it work together as one....all with the most insane creativity.

An absolute highlight of his career regardless and testament to his unmatched skills.

the entire "story" here is all about NOT buying or listeing to the black album. Take this beat I don't mind is like when a woman says the word "fine" - you just know it's not!!

In the distance a light shines and I know it is mine. Someday I will touch it because it calls me. It says cross the line, cross the line. I know everything is not always what it seems, so I pinch myself daily just in case it's a dream

See, thats the thing why I didn't get into it. Mind you, I enjoy it when certain songs go through different movements, but in this case, the song sounded out of place when it changed after part one. Not to mention, the arrangments were alot to take in, they were all over the place.

My sister who's an avid Lovesexy enthusiast still hound on me for feeling this way.

I get so confused by the rules here sometimes. LOL

I know you can't post video, but you can't mention where the video is from either?

I agree 100%, and sounds as fresh and original as ever. 123 was one of his last "ahead of it's time" type tracks. Truly about 9 years ahead of it's time, Puff Daddy's 1997 "It's All About The Benjamins" is as close a copy I thought he actually sampled it.

I think in the late 80's early 90's he was trying some really cool new things, 101, The Future, Pheromone, Scarlet Pussy, Take This Beat, Sticky Wicked, So Strong,... but sadly he gave up on it in favor of more traditional sounding pedestrian confections.
